Iranian film 'Underwater Cypress' has been welcomed by Lebanese audiences at the Resistance Film Festival.

The film, written by Mohammad-Ali Bashe-Ahangar and produced by Seyed Hamed Hosseini, features actors familiar to Iranian cinema lovers including: Babak Hamidiyan, Massoud Rayegan, Reza Behboudi, Mina Sadati, Houman Barqnavard, Setareh Eskandari, Homayoun Ershadi, Shahram Haqiqatdoust, and Farrokh Nemati.
The RIFF, one of the most prestigious international film festivals in Iran, is dedicated to productions on wars and the repercussions of armed conflicts in the world.
It also puts spotlight on the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Zionist regime, Daesh and their terrorist attacks in the region, and the world’s tyrants and their backing of Daesh.
The 15th edition of the RIFF kicked off in Tehran on November 26 and wrapped up on December 1, 2018.
